UK Public Privacy  Report

The UK is a global leader in public privacy transparency since 1998 when the UK's Information Commission launched a Data Controller Registry.

Registration in this registry has been required by law in the United Kingdom, but the powers to enforce this don't actually come into law until May 25, 2018.
